Jefferson Farfán celebrates his birthday and the world of football greets him

Excited to receive so many greetings, Jefferson Farfán used his Instagram account to thank everyone for the love shown. The Peruvian national team forward celebrated his birthday in Russia, training with his club Lokomotiv Moscow.

"I can only thank God for everything He has given me until today. I will continue fighting to fulfill my dreams," 'Foquita' Farfán wrote on his official Instagram account.

"I would have loved to be with my children and my mother on this day, but it is part of the job and there will be moments to be with them. I love them with all my heart. I know they are always sending me their best vibes from there to keep fighting for my goals. I adore my family," added the forward.

Jefferson Farfán turned 33 and received a very special cake shaped like the World Cup. The forward thanked his cousin who lives with him in Russia for the gift.

The national team will play their first match at Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Friday, November 10, at 10:15 PM (Saturday, November 11, in New Zealand). The second match will be at Estadio Nacional on Wednesday, November 15, at 9:15 PM.
