This past weekend the 14th round of the Second Division tournament took place. The tournament is still being dominated by Sport Boys.
The chalaco team maintains its seven-point advantage over its closest pursuer, Universidad César Vallejo, despite the fact that the pink team could only draw 1-1 at home against Willy Serrato.
The boys from the port were favored by the fact that their rival from Trujillo also couldn't collect three points, drawing 1-1 against Alfredo Salinas in the city of Espinar.
Other teams that were planning to catch up with Sport Boys were Sport Victoria and Deportivo Hualgayoc. However, neither of them could win. The team from Ica drew 1-1 at home against Defensor La Bocana, while the team from Cajamarca drew 2-2 at home against Sport Coopsol.
The only winners of the round were Carlos Mannucci and Unión Huaral. The former won 2-1 against Cienciano in Mansiche, while the latter won 3-0 against Sport Áncash.
