And Marcos Lopez, one of the five players that the national team has competing in European football, worries ahead of the debut in the qualifiers, as the left-back has not seen action with Feyenoord in the Netherlands for almost a month.

It is necessary to go back to August 4th to remember the last time Lopez was on the field, the day Feyenoord faced PSV Eindhoven for the Dutch Supercup 2023, a match that ended in a 1-0 loss. The Peruvian player played only 18 minutes in this match.

Marcos Lopez has not played in the Eredivisie so far.

The 2023-24 Eredivisie season started on August 11th, and to date, four matchdays have already been played, in which the national player has not added any minutes with Feyenoord. In the four matches, the former Sporting Cristal player remained on the bench. All this is due to the fact that the 21-year-old Dutch left-back, Quilindschy Hartman, has won the position against the Peruvian.

Undoubtedly, a matter that could worry coach Juan Reynoso ahead of the start of the qualifiers, as an important piece in his squad will arrive without competition rhythm to the crucial match against Paraguay. However, Miguel Trauco, who plays in the same position, is in a better form with the San Jose Earthquakes and would be the one with more chances of starting as a starter in the match against the 'Guaranis' this upcoming Thursday.
