Ariel Longo's team had lost 2-0 in their debut against Brazil, but this afternoon they defeated Paraguay 3-0 with goals from Belén Aquino, Wendy Carballo, and Oriana Fontán.
Uruguay's lineup was: Vanina Sburlati; Lucía Cufré, Florencia Méndez, Adriana Salvagno, and Juliana Viera; Pilar González, Oriana Fontán, Hevelin Jara, and Solange Lemos; Wendy Carballo and Belén Aquino.
On Monday at 7:30 p.m., the Uruguayan team will play against Bolivia.
