Un gran revuelo se armó este viernes con las declaraciones de dirigentes del Sportivo Luqueño, quienes se oponen a la salida de Isidro Pitta de la institución y afirmaron que lucharán por proteger los derechos del club.
However, the player's agent, in contact with Fútbol a lo Grande, shared the details of the contract and how it is possible for Pitta to leave Luqueño to sign with Olimpia.
The agent mentioned that the contract has a bilateral termination clause, which becomes effective with the manifestation of either party and the payment equivalent to one month of the player's contract.
He revealed that this document was drafted in order to protect the growth of the forward and that it could happen at any time. In July, inquiries were made and it was possible to finalize the transfer, although now this scenario arises.
He pointed out that the stance adopted by the club's board is causing unrest, considering that they had many problems complying with salaries, bonuses, and more, and yet the player performed on the field with goals.
The note concluded by stating that they have formal proof, through a notary, that the club refused to receive the termination cost and that they have submitted the paperwork to the APF (Paraguayan Football Association) for a resolution on the case. In regards to this last point, he mentioned that the football governing body could deliver a quick decision, although in the worst-case scenario, it could be delayed if Luqueño's defense manages to escalate the issue to the Player Statute Commission.
