Cerro Porteño president talks about the team's current situation

The president of Cerro Porteño club, Raúl Zapag, was present on Monday at the draw for the Copa Paraguay at the headquarters of the Paraguayan Football Association (APF) and took the opportunity to talk about the team's performance in the Apertura championship.

The Cerro Porteño leader acknowledged that the team is not going through a good moment, but sent a message to the Cerro fans: "I have to thank the passion with which people continue to support Cerro Porteño."

Zapag pointed out that Saturday's match against Libertad at La Nueva Olla is very important and hopes that the team will be up to the challenge. "We have a crucial challenge this weekend against Libertad, and we all have to be together, there is no other way to get through this difficult moment that Cerro is going through," he said.

"We are not playing well, that is evident, we cannot talk about anything else, but we are working day by day and that is what should bring tranquility because we will reach the level that corresponds to Cerro," he added.
