SANTA CLARA -- He had a brighter look than usual. Would it be the camera lights in the mixed zone or would it be the glow of adrenaline in the discomfort of the moment... or would it be the topic he spoke about with energy and that feeling of fellow countrymen? Henry Martin and the violence in the stadiums where Mexico plays, an undesirable burden that has accompanied them from Las Vegas to a climactic moment in Santa Clara.

Even the América forward reveals that there came a point where they felt responsible in the midst of the Mexican National Team for the recurring brawls between Mexican fans in the stands of United States stadiums.

The only response that Henry Martin expresses without falling into the clichés typical of the back-and-forth with the media, from the trench of the Mexican National Team, is a reflection that he emphasizes with "it is a shame."

"The truth is, this situation is very regrettable. After the match with the United States, we thought it had been because of the situation of the defeat and that we had to do with it, that they were fighting. The problem is that in every game there have been those fights (among Mexican fans). The other day I saw a woman being hit, that cannot happen. Now (at Levi's Stadium), I see someone dripping blood. What is happening? I do not know. It is something that we must pay close attention to. You as the media could help a lot," comments Henry.

"This cannot continue to happen. Apart from the fact that we may suffer some boycott, people who go with their children, with their families, with their wives, with their daughters, to a match to enjoy, and end up next to you with a guy stabbing himself, hitting women."

"It is a shame, it is really a shame that this happens. And winning, losing, drawing, these fights happen in the stands, it is regrettable, truly regrettable."

"Actually, we do not share it. We would like to be able to help in a way to stop that," said Henry Martin.
