The native of Ciudad Juarez started his career at Dallas Football Club. Having lived an important part of his youth in American territory, Zendejas had clear intentions of playing for the Stars and Stripes national team. However, everything changed when Matias Almeyda requested him as a reinforcement for the rojiblancos for the Apertura 2016.

During his first cycle at the Rebaño, Zendejas did not convince and only played 10 games, two in the League and eight in the Copa Mx. Nevertheless, he was part of the championship team of the Clausura 2017 despite not contributing with any goals.

Due to his low performance, he was loaned to Zacatepec in 2017, where he finally found regularity and scored 10 goals throughout the year.

After the departure of the Argentine strategist from the Jalisco bench, José Saturdino Cardozo arrived, who also did not see much potential in the young player after his loan spell with the Cañeros.

Between 2018 and 2020, Alejandro played 13 games as a rojiblanco, scoring one goal against Cafetaleros in the Copa Mx of the year 2019.

His move to Necaxa was predictable. What surprised everyone was the high performance he showed in his matches with Rayos, which led him to sign with America to join in the Clausura 2022.

Since then, Alejandro Zendejas has earned a place in the most successful team in Mexican soccer and achieved his goal of playing for the United States, so the memory of Chivas remains a bitter pill in his career.

Now he seeks to eliminate the rojiblancos to reach the Clausura 2023 final and be closer to achieving another professional goal, to become champion of Liga Mx.
