Atlas fans attacked Chivas followers after Clásico.

This Thursday, May 11, the Tapatío Classic between Atlas and Chivas was played in the first leg of the Clausura 2023 of the Liga MX, where the Rojinegros managed to win, however, the bitter taste of the night was not lacking.

At the end of the match, some cameras on the street captured attacks on Chivas fans by Atlas supporters; the videos went viral on social media and users are calling on the authorities in Jalisco to take the necessary measures.

On their Twitter account, the media outlet Traffic ZM Guadalajara shared a video where a man is apparently walking along a sidewalk wearing his Chivas jersey when he comes across a group of Atlas fans, who take off his shirt and beat him up.

They also shared a second video where another group of Rojinegro fans attack a Chivas fan, but this time on the road.

It should be noted that the first leg match of the quarterfinals was played at the Estadio Jalisco, Atlas' home stadium, and the attacks took place outside the venue.

However, there continues to be criticism of the Liga MX for the acts of violence that continue to occur around clubs and soccer matches, despite the recent implementation of the Fan ID.

It should be noted that Atlas fans were among the protagonists of the regrettable violent incidents that took place at the Estadio La Corregidora on May 5, 2022, where several people died.

In light of this, users lamented that despite what happened, Atlas fans continue to be involved in these situations.
