Abram will have a new challenge when he arrives in the American league after leaving Cruz Azul
Atlanta United announced the signing of Peruvian defender Luis Abram from Granada in Spain until the 2026 season. The national center-back will occupy an international slot pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.
"Luis is a talented center back who brings a lot of experience both at the club and international level at just 26 years old," said the vice president of Atlanta.
Atlanta's coach, Carlos Bocanegra, also commented on the arrival of Luis Abram. "We hope he has an immediate impact on our backline and we are excited to welcome him to the club."
The 26-year-old center back has played 257 matches in clubs throughout his career in Peru, Argentina, Spain, and Mexico, scoring a total of 11 goals and providing seven assists.
