BUAP student Victoria Cruz Romano to compete in the XXII Central American and Caribbean Senior Karate Championship
The student of Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), Victoria Cruz Romano, is part of the Mexican National Team that will be competing in the upcoming XXII Central American and Caribbean Senior Karate Championship, to be held in Oaxtepec, Morelos.
Recently, the selection process took place in two competitions where the top two positions of the eight karatekas in the country would earn their ticket to the Central American event, and the Puebla native secured the second place.
Throughout her career, Cruz Romano has won six gold medals, four silver medals, and one bronze medal in national events. At the international level, she has won three gold medals and five silver medals in the Central American and Caribbean Championships, three bronze medals in the Pan American Senior Championships, and a silver medal in the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, in 2019.
