GUADALAJARA -- Rayados de Monterrey closed their preseason with a victory at Estadio Jalisco over Leones Negros from U. de G. of Ascenso MX by 2-1, with Avilés Hurtado being the key player for Diego Alonso's team.
The Colombian scored two goals in the second half. At 49', he took advantage by pushing the ball into the goal after a great save from goalkeeper Felipe López, while at 69' he found space again to score and unleashed a long-range shot for a great goal.
Guatemalan Marvin Ceballos scored a consolation goal for Universidad de Guadalajara towards the end of the match. Omar Bravo, who reinforced Leones Negros in two preseason matches, came on as a substitute at the 80th minute but had an insignificant performance. He did not touch the ball and did not generate any dangerous chances.
Rayados are focused on their debut in Liga BBVA next weekend when they face Águilas del América on July 20th at 7:00 PM.
