Atlas player Alexi Gómez separated from the team

A few hours before Atlas faces Puebla in Round 11 of the Liga MX, Peruvian player Alexi Gómez was dismissed from the team's concentration after being caught "cascareando" (playing casually) on the fields of a sports complex in Guadalajara.

The footballer had not been taken into account by Rubén Omar Romano for the match against Morelia last weekend, nor for the clash against Necaxa during the week for the Copa MX Round of 16.

The Peruvian has played seven games this season with the red-and-black shirt, five of them as a starter. However, he has not been able to convince the fans with his football and even the club is not considering exercising their purchase option once the loan ends.
