Raúl Ruidíaz is making the necessary merits in Mexico to earn a name for himself, not only in Monarcas Morelia but in the MX League, where he is one of their main strikers and confessed that he will not feel completely happy until he achieves a title with the "canaries".
About his aspirations in the MX League, Ruidiaz explained: "Personally, I want to stand out in many things. I came here for the team to win another championship, so until we achieve that, I won't be completely happy".
He also explained why he has had a hard time finding the goal late in the current Mexican Clausura: "Last season I started scoring goals from the sixth match, this season it has been more difficult, defenders know me more, but I am recovering thanks to the support and trust of my teammates. We are all leaders and important, and we must continue in that way".
On the other hand, he highlighted that Monarcas Morelia hopes to keep adding 3 points in the Mexican Clausura and enter the playoffs to directly compete for the title. "That is our first goal, to accumulate the most points to be among the top eight. We are on the right track, there are still a few dates left to make it to the playoffs"
To achieve this, Raul Ruidiaz pointed out that Monarcas have a lot of strength playing at the Morelos stadium: "We are strong at home, we only had a defeat against Pumas. The team has not shown its best level, it is important to get 3 points even if we don't have our best level, but we are working to find the best form".
