At the Caliente stadium, the 'Xoloitzcuintles' of Tijuana lost their undefeated record by falling 2-0 against the 'Gallos' of Querétaro. Chilean Edson Puch scored both goals, first from a penalty in the 67th minute and again in the 72nd minute with a shot inside the box.
With this result, 'the Gallos' reached seven points and the 'Xolos' remained with nine. In this match, Gibrán Lajud, Tijuana's goalkeeper, broke the unbeaten record in the league since the beginning of the tournament.
The previous record was 477 minutes and it was set by Jesús Corona with Cruz Azul in the Clausura-2015. Lajud set the new record at 516 minutes.
On Saturday at the Universitario stadium, the Tigres of Frenchman André-Pierre Gignac will host América of Frenchman Jérémy Ménez.

The 'Gallos Blancos' are not in a comfortable position in the Liga MX. Two consecutive defeats in the Clausura 2018 Tournament and in a complicated situation regarding their permanence, although they have an advantage over Veracruz, last place in the Cociente.
"We have to make some modifications, but not change everything; you can't change the structure from one moment to another. We have had some good things, but we need to have more possession of the ball and attack," said the coach of Querétaro.
Tijuana is in a different situation than their rival. Xolos is one of the clubs that is undefeated in the Clausura 2018 Tournament: two victories and three draws to place themselves in the fifth position of the competition.
