MEXICO -- Henry Martín already has his visa to enter the United States, so he will have no problem traveling with the Mexican National Team on Monday to face Bosnia on Wednesday in preparation for the 2018 Russia World Cup.
According to ESPN Digital, Martín has already received his visa, a document he was missing, to enter the United States, so he will have no problem being part of the national team after being called up by Juan Carlos Osorio to face the first preparation match of the year, in which only Liga MX players will be considered.
The 25-year-old forward's call-up comes after his strong start to the season with América, where he has started in the first three league matches and scored a couple of goals that have earned points for the team.
"It's a great step for me to join América, for my career, and I'm very excited and happy. It's a great pride to return to the national team," the player shared on Friday during the official presentation of the team's new signings.
This is the first time in two and a half years that Martín will wear the Mexican National Team jersey again, after his lone appearance in a 3-3 draw against Trinidad and Tobago in a friendly match in the United States in September 2015.
The players selected for the match against Bosnia will gather on Sunday night to travel on Monday morning to San Antonio, Texas, where they will train a couple of times before the match.
