The albiverde team trains with the motivation left by their first victory in the tournament against Querétaro.
“Thank you very much for attending. We are working so that the fans continue to believe in us, so we hope that there will be more people in the stadium, we are going to give our show and leave everything on the field", she said.
At the end of the practice, defender Melissa Aideé Sosa Enríquez, who scored her first goal with the albiverde jersey in the match against Querétaro, highlighted the good atmosphere within the team.
“We have a positive mentality, we are working. It was a great game that we won, but we are talking about one match, as soon as the game was over we were already thinking about Tigres. The truth is that we are very motivated emotionally", she said.
Regarding the upcoming opponent, she pointed out that “we are talking about a team that reached the semi-finals last season, they are one of the strong teams of this season. Teams like Monterrey, Chivas, and Tigres are the parameters to see how we are doing".
The center-back, originally from Chihuahua city, shared the excitement of having scored in the albiverde stadium, a very special experience that she aims to repeat.
“There was a talk in the dressing room with the fitness coach and he told me that I had to score a header goal, so with my determination on the field, I managed to achieve it, I pointed to the bench and told him that there was the goal. It was a very nice feeling", she said.
With this, she reiterated the team's commitment to their fans, encouraging them to continue supporting them in the upcoming games.
