Guillermo Vázquez is the new head coach of Tiburones Rojos del Veracruz for Clausura 2018.

His coaching staff will be integrated by José Luis Salgado as his assistant and Ricardo Gómez as the fitness coach.

He was presented by the team's management on Friday, December 1st and will take charge of the team with his first training session on Saturday.

Memo Vázquez already has great experience in the Liga MX, where he coached Cruz Azul and Pumas, winning the Clausura 2011 trophy with the latter.

Now, with the team, he will aim to lead them out of the relegation battle and qualify them for the playoffs, something they have not been able to achieve in recent tournaments.
