The relegation drama is not exclusive to Liga MX, practically all the top leagues in international soccer have this modality that 'punishes' the worst teams in a soccer year.

SPAIN
Osasuna and Granada, where Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa plays, are the only ones who, with two games remaining in the tournament, are condemned to relegation.
Sporting de Gijón still has possibilities to save itself and condemn Deportivo La Coruña or Leganés to leave the league of the stars.
NETHERLANDS
In the Eredivisie, the relegation system is more generous, as two of the three clubs involved in this sector will have the opportunity to play a promotion to maintain their category.
With two matchdays remaining, there is still no mathematically relegated team, as Sparta Rotterdam and NEC Nijmegen could involve Roda JC, PEC Zwolle, and Excelsior in this regard; they currently occupy the promotion places.

FRANCE
In the first division of France, there are two matchdays left and there is still no club sentenced to relegation. The last three classified will move to Ligue 2 next season, although one of them has the right to play a promotion.
Dijon is the team that at this moment would have a second opportunity for permanence, although a couple of good results would send them to the salvation zone.
Nancy and Bastia would be relegated directly, although they have enough points to fight for their stay in Ligue 1 in the remaining two matchdays.
ENGLAND
In the Premier League, only Sunderland is condemned to relegation, as it is mathematically impossible for them to reach the salvation zone.
Hull City and Middlesbrough have one and two games, respectively, to achieve salvation.
GERMANY
In the Bundesliga, there are two matchdays left out of the 34 dictated by the calendar, and of the three places that condemn relegation, only one has no salvation left. Darmstadt 98 will no longer play in this league.
Ingolstadt has salvation in its hands, as does Hamburg, which would also be playing its right to the playoff if it remains in 16th place in the standings.
PORTUGAL
In the first division championship of Portugal, there are only two places for relegated teams, although neither of them has the right to fight for a promotion.
Currently, Tondela is the team fighting to get out of the relegation zone, while Nacional de Madeira is condemned to leave the Primeira Liga.
ARGENTINA
The South American league has a relegation format similar to Mexican soccer, which is based on a percentage table, although here the last four teams classified must say goodbye to the top league.
