The Chilean ex-footballer, Miguel Ángel Neira, spoke about the match between the Peruvian National Football Team and the southern combined team on Thursday, October 12, at the Monumental Stadium in Santiago, for the third round of the South American Qualifiers.
The former World Cup player with the Lone Star team is very confident about the duel between Peruvians and Chileans, in a new edition of the "Pacific Classic", and assured that the local team can defeat the "bicolor" even with "kids".
"I have all the faith, Peru is faced with kids and they are beaten, if the Peruvians are scared here in Chile, we have always beaten them.", said the former footballer in dialogue with Bolavip.
CRITICIZING BERIZZO
Likewise, Miguel Ángel Neira criticized the coach of "La Roja", Eduardo Berizzo, for the absences of some players in the list of those called up to face Peru and Venezuela.
"He doesn't fulfill everything he preaches, he said he would call up those who were playing better and he doesn't call up Damián Pizarro, I don't understand that, hopefully his absence won't be noticed, he is the best forward we have in the country, even counting those who are abroad, because Alexis (Sánchez) is no longer a forward.", he said.
