Countdown begins for the start of the qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Cup

The countdown has begun for the start of the qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Cup, and our beloved Peruvian National Football Team already knows its fixture in the continental tournament. As it is known, Juan Reynoso's team will make their debut in Asunción against their Paraguayan counterparts. The date and time for the second match against the Brazilian team have just been confirmed.

The clash between both teams for the three points will be played on September 12th, at 9 p.m. in the National Stadium in Lima.

As it had already been confirmed, the first match against Paraguay will be on September 7th, at 5:30 p.m. (Peruvian time) in the Antonio Aranda Encina Stadium in Ciudad del Este.
