To renew the President of the Republic Scholarship, students must maintain two fundamental points that will allow them to continue receiving the scholarship:
- Socioeconomic situation in a bracket of up to 40% in the Social Registry of Households
- Average grade equal to or higher than 6.0

Requirements to apply for the President of the Republic Scholarship
- Certificate or document that proves enrollment or regular student status.
- Annual grade certificate.
- Social Registry of Households (RSH) statement.
In case you are a technical-vocational high school student and are in the process of an internship, you can renew the benefit by submitting the internship certificate issued by the educational institution, which must include:
- The duration of the internship (start and end).
- The identification of the internship center.
How to receive the President of the Republic Scholarship for higher education
It should be noted that the President of the Republic Scholarship is also aimed at students in higher education, and to receive it, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have obtained a minimum average score of 485 in the Compulsory Tests (Reading Competence and Mathematics Competence) of the Higher Education Admission Test (PAES), for students entering professional careers at universities.
- For students who have taken exams in previous formats (PDT or PSU) and demonstrate one or more annual suspensions, a minimum average score of 475 points in language and mathematics will be imposed.
- For students awarded scholarships until 2022, have a bracket in the Social Registry of Households (RSH) of up to 70%.
- For students awarded scholarships from 2023 onwards, have a bracket in the Social Registry of Households (RSH) of 40%.
