In Chile, the intense rains that affected the country during the third week of June affected a large number of the Chilean population, so the authorities had to step forward and act in response to this natural phenomenon. For this reason, the Recovery Bonus was established, which is intended for all families affected by the rains.
As it is known, the storm affected a large part of the central and southern region of Chile and these rains caused damage in several localities and left numerous people affected. In view of this situation, President Gabriel Boric announced in the following days that the Recovery Bonus would be provided, a benefit of up to 1.5 million pesos that will be allocated to help the citizens.
Recovery Bonus: Who will receive it?
It should be noted that this aid has no requirements, that is, it is not an application, so it will not be delivered automatically. The only condition to receive the Recovery Bonus is to have been registered or recorded in the Basic Emergency File (FIBE), so the benefit will be deposited directly into the head of household's RUT Account.
How much will be paid in the Recovery Bonus?
The Recovery Bonus has a total amount that has been allocated and reaches up to 1.5 million pesos, however, this does not mean that all beneficiaries will receive the same amount of money, since the contribution is divided into segments, which are decided based on the need and seriousness of each family's situation, which is also detected with the FIBE.
It is important to know that the amount will be given only once, with the segments as follows:
- Segment 1 = $375,000, when there is "low impact"
- Segment 2 = $750,000, when there is "medium impact"
- Segment 3 = $1,125,000, when there is "high impact"
- Segment 4 = $1,500,000, when there is "very high impact"
