During the third week of June, in Chile, intense rain affected a large number of the Chilean population, so the authorities had to step forward and act in the face of this natural phenomenon. As a result, the Recovery Bonus was distributed, which is aimed at all families affected by the rains.
As it is known, the storm affected a large part of the central-southern zone of Chile, and these rains caused damage in several localities and left numerous people affected. Faced with this situation, President Gabriel Boric announced in the following days that the Recovery Bonus would be provided, a benefit of up to 1.5 million pesos that will be used to aid the citizens.
Recovery Bonus: Who will receive it?
It is worth mentioning that this aid has no requirements, meaning it is not an application process, so it will not be automatically delivered. The only condition to receive the Recovery Bonus is to have been registered in the Basic Emergency Record (FIBE), so the benefit will be deposited directly into the head of the household's RUT Account.
How much will be paid in the Recovery Bonus?
The Recovery Bonus has a total amount that has been allocated, reaching up to 1.5 million pesos. However, this does not mean that all beneficiaries will receive the same amount of money, as the contribution is divided into ranges, which are determined based on the need and severity of each family's situation, which is also detected with FIBE.
It is important to know that the amount will be delivered only once, with the segments being as follows:
- Range 1 = $375,000, when there is "low impact"
- Range 2 = $750,000, when there is "medium impact"
- Range 3 = $1,125,000, when there is "high impact"
- Range 4 = $1,500,000, when there is "very high impact"
