Thousands of fans approach the Santos stadium to bid farewell to football idol Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé. Personalities from all over the world and top football authorities have also attended the event, including Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA.

However, Infantino is receiving criticism for a gesture that Brazilians didn't like at all. The football administrator appeared in a very smiley 'selfie' next to Pelé's coffin. In the photo, he was with Lima, Pelé's former teammate at Santos.

This image didn't go down well and received a lot of criticism on social media. "Where is the respect?," "This gentleman has completely lost his way by taking a selfie next to Pelé's coffin," and "Seeing Gianni Infantino's selfie at Pelé's funeral, you perfectly understand the absurdity of Salt Bae," were some of the comments.

Infantino arrived at Vila Belmiro stadium in the Brazilian city of Santos about 40 minutes before the start of Pelé's funeral accompanied by the president of Conmebol, Alejandro Domínguez, and the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), Edinaldo Rodrigues.
