This Monday, December 5th, the South Korean team will seek their ticket to the quarterfinals of the Qatar 2022 World Cup and will face Neymar Jr's Brazil. However, on social media, the singular 'reward' that the players will receive if they achieve this feat in this World Cup has become viral.

If you didn't know, all Korean citizens must fulfill their mandatory military service according to the law of South Korea. Just a few weeks ago, it was known that some members of BTS will do it, so almost no one is 'free' from this mandate.

However, there is a way to 'avoid' mandatory military service and the players from South Korea participating in the Qatar 2022 World Cup will seek to achieve it with victory in the round of 16.

As mentioned on the El Universal portal, player Son Heung-min was able to avoid mandatory military service by winning as champion of the Asian Games, held in Indonesia, defeating Japan and thus achieving an international title.
