Peru reaches the final day of the ODESUR in seventh place in the medal table with 19 gold, 17 silver, and 36 bronze, a total of 72 medals.
Brazil at the top
On another level, Brazil confirmed its supremacy on Friday at the XII South American Games Asuncion 2022, which will extinguish its torch on Saturday after 15 days of activity in 34 sports and 53 disciplines with the participation of 15 countries from the continent.
Brazil accumulated 304 medals until Friday, including 129 gold, 94 silver, and 81 bronze.
Colombia reached 238 medals, 72 of them gold, and occupies the second place in the medal table.
Argentina will comfortably finish in third place with a total of 183 medals, and Chile confirmed fourth place with 121 medals, 35 of them gold.
Venezuela fell behind in fifth place with 129 medals, 30 of them gold.
