BTS could visit and perform in Doha, Qatar, in the second half of 2022. This possibility was expressed by Ambassador Lee Joon Ho, a diplomat from South Korea in the nation, in a statement quoted by press from the United Arab Emirates. The boyband could be part of an effort to promote Korean culture in the host country of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

According to the Gulf-times media, the South Korean embassy in Qatar plans various activities to promote tourist exchange. These plans also aim to attract more Korean citizens to visit Doha during the sports tournament that will be held from November 21 to December 18.

For now, fans await formal confirmation that the invitation has reached BTS through BIGHIT Music/HYBE. The entertainment agency has not yet commented on the statements.
