'Cruzados' celebrate

Universidad Católica continues to make history as it has become the first four-time champion club in Chilean football after defeating Everton (3-0) in the final round of the National Championship. In addition, it adds its sixteenth title of the local tournament to its trophy cabinet.

The goals by Julio Alberto Barroso (own goal at 37'), Alfonso Parot (48'), and Felipe Gutiérrez (85') made the fans who attended the Sausalito Stadium cheer. Likewise, the 'Cruzados' fans also celebrated each goal of their beloved team at home.

The team led by Cristian Paulucci depended on themselves to lift the trophy regardless of what happened in the Colo Colo match, which ended up losing (1-0) against Antofagasta. The 'Franja' only fulfilled its task and accumulated a total of 68 points in the championship. On the other hand, 'Cacique' finished second with 62 points.
