Ilaix Moriba, a footballer from Barcelona who scored his first goal for the team against Osasuna in their 0-2 victory, declared on Saturday that he will take the memory of his goal "to the grave".

Moriba, visibly happy, scored his first career goal at the same stadium where Ansu Fati began his tally for Barcelona. In an interview with Movistar Plus, he remembered his teammate and explained his feelings.

"This is something you never forget. I will take it to the grave. I was just told that Ansu scored his first goal here. He's like my brother, I love him a lot and I'm delighted to have scored here," he said.

"It's a great feeling... I had been struggling to score in previous matches. You can see it because I shoot and I like to score. Messi gave me a goal. I don't even know how I dribbled. I shot with my left foot and by God's grace, it went in," he added.

Moriba dedicated the goal to his father, mother, and family, and highlighted the importance of La Masia in his education: "I have learned a lot, they have educated me very well, and I am very lucky," he said.

He also spoke about his relationship with the Barcelona veterans: "The good thing is that there is competitiveness in training. There are no youngsters, we have to learn from the elders. They give us advice. It's not easy, there's still a long way to go. Leo told me from the first game to shoot from outside, and that's what I did today," he said.

Lastly, he commented on the state of the fight for LaLiga: "We have never thought it was over. It's difficult, but we will always fight. Hopefully, Atlético and Real Madrid will drop points, but in this case, tomorrow it's Atlético who is ahead," he concluded. EFE
