Manchester City, with Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi in the starting lineup, will visit Everton today, which in turn will have Ramiro Funes Mori starting, in one of the first leg matches for the English League Cup semifinals.
The match will be played at 17:00 in Argentina at Goodison Park in Liverpool, and the second leg will be played on the 27th of this month at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
City, which also has Pablo Zabaleta and Martin Demichelis in the squad, won the tournament in 1970, 1976, and 2014; while Everton lost two finals: in 1977 and 1984.
In the other semifinal, Liverpool defeated Stoke City 1-0 as a visitor with a goal from Jordon Ibe at 37 minutes of the first half, in Staffordshire. The second leg will be played on January 26th at 16:45 at Anfield.
