Quito -
The Ecuadorian midfielder Jordan Sierra will seek the title of the Club World Cup with Mexican Tigres on Thursday
The Nuevo León team is the first Mexican club, and from the Concacaf zone, to reach this phase of the FIFA tournament.
The felines defeated Palmeiras 1-0 in the semi-finals on Sunday and are waiting for the winner between Bayern Munich, champion of the Champions League, and Al Ahly SC, winner of the African Champions League.
Although without any presence in the four games of the Mexican Clausura tournament this season, Sierra accumulated minutes on the field in the games that Tigres played against Ulsan Hyundai FC and Palmeiras in the World Cup.
"We are in the final," commented the Ecuadorian midfielder, who entered during the additional minutes against the Egyptians and Brazilians.
Estamos en la final.

The final will be played on Thursday at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, starting at 13:00 in Ecuador.
"We are facing two great teams and the next one will be the same," said coach Ferreti, "that's why we will approach it in the same way. I am happy with the victory and excited like everyone else, but I am not one to celebrate before time, there is still one match left, and the most important one is the one to come and naturally we know the capacity of the team we are going to face."
Sierra joins a large group of Ecuadorian players who have competed in the Club World Cup with Mexican teams, along with Álex Aguinaga and Agustín Delgado (Necaxa), Michael Arroyo and Renato Ibarra (América), Marlon De Jesús and Walter Ayoví (Monterrey), and Joao Rojas with Cruz Azul.
