Frenchman Karim Benzema, who scored a last-minute goal to allow Real Madrid to draw 1-1 against Valencia this Sunday, reached 12 goals, tying with Lionel Messi as the league's top scorer.
Messi, who did not score on Saturday in Barcelona's 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad, will meet the Frenchman on Wednesday in the Clásico between the two Spanish giants.
