The Barcelona forward gave an interview to TyC Sports where he talked about everything: Barcelona, his game, the Argentine National Team, and much more.

"I'm not a typical striker, I like to come from behind, be in contact with the ball and create football. I also like to score goals, but I don't live off that. If I spend too much time without touching it, I leave the game," confesses and begins Lionel Messi in an interview with TyC Sports. Unlike his beginnings, the Barcelona forward now appears more relaxed with the press, personal statements and also confesses stages of his life in the world of football.

With the Barcelona jersey, Leo has to be in contact with the game. That's why we see him as a center forward, a midfielder and a winger. Possession keeps him on the edge and he needs it to be able to perform, something that doesn't always happen in the National Team and perhaps, is the reason why he doesn't end up playing evenly: almost always well as with the Catalans.

Other statements from Lionel Messi

Messi not only talked about his football, but also a bit about VAR and classics in the world. Regarding the tool that is being implemented, Leo confessed that he likes it. "I like it, but when used well. It came to clear up doubts and it's still not doing it".

And about the classics? "In Spain, if you lose, nothing happens. In Argentina, you can't leave your house and it's crazy, but that's how it is. Football, in general, people live it that way. The day-to-day madness is also carried in football. The River-Boca or the Rosario derby are more or less like the Barcelona-Real Madrid, but in Argentina people are crazier".

Messi took a weekend after the Clasico in Spain was suspended. Leo relaxes and returned to training this Sunday with Barcelona.
