The Champions League is back with great matches, but also with big absences. Among them, Real Madrid, who left Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, and Lucas Vázquez out of the squad for Tuesday's Champions League match against Turkish side Galatasaray, a match that coach Zinedine Zidane considers "essential".
None of them played on Saturday when Madrid lost 1-0 against Real Mallorca, the first defeat of the white team in the league this season.
Modric and Bale got injured while playing with their national teams, while Vázquez has been sidelined since the beginning of the month.
Toni Kroos, Eden Hazard, and Dani Carvajal, who also missed the defeat against Mallorca, are back in the squad.
