Chile: Arturo Vidal reunites with Claudio Bravo to clarify things [PHOTOS]

They have not seen each other for two years and have not even spoken with WhatsApp messages. After Chile's failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, many things broke in the internal of 'La Roja'. Claudio Bravo, for example, was dropped from the national team and only returned in the last FIFA international break under Reinaldo Rueda. With the return of the former captain, however, Arturo Vidal, Barcelona midfielder, did not come back. Now, for the international friendly matches this week, both players meet again.

Upon their arrival in Alicante, where Chile will face Colombia, 'El Rey' commented on the meeting he will have with Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo. "We have 10 days, clearly many things will be discussed, but always having the national team above all things, which is very important," said the player about his relationship with Bravo.

Vidal added that everything will stay in the dressing room and will not be discussed with the press. The goal is to have a good start looking ahead to the next qualifiers and the relationship that must exist within the squad. Vidal and Bravo may not become friends again, but they will be teammates for the sake of the national team in the friendly matches and the official ones next March.

The draw for the qualifiers will be on December 3, which also coincides with the Copa America draw. Vidal spoke about the current situation of 'La Roja' and the advice they should give to the young players of the national team, now that both have already surpassed the age of 30.
