"The Best FIFA" recognized her with a nomination in the category as best fan. Here are the details!

Silva Grecco, the fan of the Brazilian club Palmeiras who narrates the team's matches to her visually impaired son Nickollas, has gained notoriety once again. Her motherly role has been recognized by FIFA, as she has been nominated for "The Best FIFA" award in the Best Fan category.

Last September, their story went viral. A video shows them both seated, with the mother leaning in to her son's ear to narrate minute by minute what was happening on the field.

"Gratitude. What an honor this recognition is. It increases our responsibility in our mission. People with disabilities exist and need to be included and respected. Football has that power. You can help us by voting," wrote Silvia on her social media about the award, which will be decided by public preference.

The story of Justo Sánchez, who attends the matches of his rival club as a promise to his son who passed away in 2016, and the fans of the Netherlands, who cheered on their team in the Women's World Cup, are also nominated.
