Barcelona, with a deficit of $29.5 million, acknowledged José Francisco Cevallos.

The president of Barcelona also commented that an agreement is being sought for the departure of Michael Arroyo, who would be sought after by Dorados.

The president of Barcelona also commented that an agreement is being sought for the departure of Michael Arroyo, who would be sought after by Dorados.

After Barcelona President José Francisco Cevallos acknowledged that coach Leonardo Ramos does not count on football player Michael Arroyo, the Mexican press places the torero striker in the Dorados de Sinaloa club.

"The intention is to reach an agreement (regarding Arroyo's departure from the Canary team). Whatever needs to be paid, needs to be paid (for legal reasons). It's just a matter of sitting down to talk," Cevallos said this Thursday on Sucre radio.

In this context, the main leader of the Guayaquil club ruled out that the 32-year-old player will join Liga de Portoviejo this semester, as the transfer window in Ecuador has already closed.

Cevallos had acknowledged the interest of Capira in securing Arroyo's services: "There is an interest from President Roberto Rodríguez. We hope he can talk to his representative and the player.

The torero president also explained that Ramos does not consider Arroyo in his squad: "Initially, no. He (the coach) has expressed it. But (Arroyo) is a player who belongs to the team, to the institution."

Meanwhile, according to Sinaloa reporter Christopher Islas, the Ecuadorian player would be the last reinforcement that the Gran Pez team expects to have.

Deficit of '$29.5 million'

The Barcelona president also ruled out - also on Sucre - that his administration had "done something under the table" regarding the club's finances.

"In the informative Assembly in September, where everything is informed, they will ask me and I will answer openly to the members; but publicly stating all the values to the media is complicated," added Cevallos, before detailing that the club's debt is 29.5 million dollars.

The intention is to reach an agreement (with Arroyo); whatever needs to be paid, needs to be paid. Ramos (the coach) does not count on him in his squad."
