Tremendous captain. This afternoon the ideal Copa América team selected by CONMEBOL was announced with the presence of two Peruvians: Miguel Trauco and Paolo Guerrero.

In the Copa América Argentina 2011 edition, Guerrero shared an attacking trident with Uruguayans Luis Suárez and Diego Forlán.
In the following Copa América Chile 2015, he played alongside Lionel Messi and Eduardo Vargas.
And in the last Copa América held in Brazil 2019, the Peruvian was positioned as a striker accompanied by James Rodríguez and Everton.
