Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+: the infinity display is here to stay in the mid-range.

Two new mid-range smartphones promise to be the best in the market. Samsung officially presented the Galaxy A6, a mobile device that takes aspects from the S9 and A8. Get to know the specifications of these new devices from the Korean company.

The smaller yet powerful version of this mobile device is equipped with a Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1480x720 pixels and a size of 5.6 inches. Both the front and rear cameras have 16 MP, but differ in the focal aperture; the former is f/1.7 and the latter is f/1.9. It has an Exynos 7870 processor with eight cores clocked at 1.6 GHz.

The Plus version of the Galaxy A6 has a larger screen size of 6 inches and a resolution of 2220x1080 pixels. The rear part of the device has a dual camera with the same 16 MP f/1.7 lens as the A6, but adds another 5 MP f/1.9 lens for selective blur. On the other hand, the front camera reaches 24 MP f/1.9, and the chosen processor is the Snapdragon 450.

The base price of the new Samsung A6 mobile device will be $306, and the Plus version will cost $369. International pre-orders are already open and it will be released on May 23rd. It will be available in four colors: black, gold, blue, and lavender.
