The last FIFA date before the kickoff of the 2018 World Cup in Russia is about to end, although the Tri still has to fulfill its commitment against Croatia, their group stage opponents have already finished their respective performances, having at least one defeat in all their matches.
GERMANY
Germany, the first opponent of Juan Carlos Osorio's team in Group F, could not beat Spain or Brazil, with whom they ended up drawing and losing, respectively. The streak of 22 undefeated games was left in the hands of the South Americans, and Joachim Löw's team could only score one goal in 180 minutes.
SOUTH KOREA
The Asian team had less luck than the Germans, as they lost in the matches they played; the first one against Northern Ireland (2-1), who doesn't even have a ticket to the next World Cup, and the second defeat was courtesy of Poland, who won 3-2 in the scoreboard.
SWEDEN
The other European opponent that Mexico will face in the group stage didn't have much success either. Sweden faced two eliminated teams from the World Cup, Chile and Romania; they lost 2-1 and 1-0 to both, respectively. The Swedes will close the Group F activity against Mexico in the upcoming World Cup.
