Barcelona's new defender
The Barcelona has a new center-back. The voices confirming the arrival of Yerry Mina to Barcelona are increasing. This time, 'El Larguero' from Cadena SER reported on the agreement that both the culé club and Palmeiras finally reached for the Colombian center-back, who already has permission to travel to the City of Barcelona and could even be presented this week.
The figures are clear
"The figures are also clear and Barcelona will pay a total of around twelve million euros, broken down into about ten for Palmeiras, about two for Santa Fe Independente, and about 600,000 for the FIFA solidarity mechanism," said the Spanish media.
Adrià Albets, a Spanish journalist, was in charge of informing about the total agreement between the teams, through a close source from the Brazilian club.
The agreement would have taken time because Barça and Palmeiras had not agreed on the payment terms. The Brasileirao club wants to receive the 11.8 million euros in full. Instead, the azulgranas propose to pay the agreed amount through several installments.
But once this setback is overcome and after Philippe Coutinho's millionaire signing, FC Barcelona fans are only waiting for their club to officially announce Mina, who would sign for five and a half years.
