Michael Owen, former winner of the 2001 Ballon d'Or, will swap football pitches for racecourses
According to Marca, the ex-Liverpool footballer will participate in a charity race for the Prince's Countryside Fund, an organization founded to help ensure a better future for British farmers.

The former English international will make his debut as a jockey on November 24 at the legendary Ascot racecourse in the United Kingdom. The horse he will ride is Calder Prince, trained by Tom Dascombe.
