Peruvian U-15 team suffers a heavy defeat against Brazil
The Peruvian U-15 team suffered a 5-0 defeat against Brazil in the final group stage match of the South American Championship in this category. However, Peru secured their qualification by having a better goal difference than Ecuador and will now face Argentina.
Brazil exposed all the weaknesses of the team led by Edgar Texeira, taking a 4-0 lead within the first half hour. In the second half, the Peruvian team pressed more, but the Brazilians increased their advantage to five goals and Peru couldn't find a way to hurt their opponent.
Next, Peru will face Argentina in the semifinals of the U-15 South American Championship on Friday, November 17 at the Bicentenario Stadium in San Juan.
