Real Madrid beats Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup

Real Madrid defeated Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup, winning their fourth title and second consecutive one.

Brazilian player Casemiro scored the first goal for the Spanish team at the 23rd minute, after receiving a cross pass from his teammate Daniel Carvajal. The Real Madrid midfielder beat the English defense to score.

In terms of gameplay, Real Madrid was far superior to Manchester United, who generated few dangerous situations. As for Zinedine Zidane's team, the great display by Isco has been crucial to launch attacks.

Casemiro has become a player of important goals, as he also scored in the last Champions League final in Cardiff against Juventus. That match was tied (1-1) until Casemiro scored a powerful right-footed shot into the Italian goal.

In the second half, Manchester United tried to attack the Real Madrid goal a bit more. However, the Spanish player Isco Alarcón scored the second goal for Real Madrid at the 52nd minute after a good collective play.

10 minutes later, Romelu Lukaku scored a goal for Manchester United after a rebound left by Navas.

After that play, the "Red Devils" tried to find the equalizer, but they couldn't achieve it. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo entered the field with 10 minutes left to play. The Portuguese player returned to play for Real Madrid after the UEFA Champions League final.

This is the fourth UEFA Super Cup won by Real Madrid in their history. They are one title away from AC Milan and FC Barcelona.
