The South American footballer, 31 years old and 49 times international with Argentina, began his professional career with Argentinos Juniors in July 2004 and then defended the colors of Independiente. In the highest Argentine category he played 66 matches and scored one goal.

Biglia then moved to Europe and settled in Belgian football as a player for Anderlecht, where he played for seven years. The midfielder stood out in the Brussels team and was recruited by Lazio, with whom he made his debut in July 2013 against Udinese.


With the Roman team, he scored sixteen goals in the four seasons he completed before being pursued by Milan, who has just made his signing official.

The second reinforcement of Milan for the next season, after the defender Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus, has represented Argentina in the lower categories and in the senior team, debuting on September 2, 2011 against Portugal.

Lucas Biglia signed a contract until June 2020. Lazio will receive 17 million euros for the transfer to Milan.
