Marco Fabian's goal chosen as the best of the Confederations Cup
Thanks to the FIFA users, Marco Fabian's goal against Germany in the semifinals of the Confederations Cup was chosen as the best goal of the tournament. The Mexican midfielder scored the 3-1.
The Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder struck from more than 30 meters to beat Marc Andre ter Stegen, who couldn't prevent the goal for the 'Tricolor', which ultimately couldn't reach the final of the tournament.
To be the best goal of the Confederations Cup, Marco Fabian won the election with 55% of the votes. Another candidate from Mexico, Raúl Jiménez, came close in the election. Like Ricardo Quaresma.
Kerem Derirbay from Germany, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa from Cameroon, and André Silva from Portugal also participated in the election, but they were far behind the Mexican midfielder.
