He also referred to Sampaoli's style and asked for time to develop a game plan. "If you look at Sampaoli's Sevilla, they play in a way that the national team didn't play against Brazil. We have to give him time and wait for what all Argentines want, to qualify for the World Cup," the 'Patón' pointed out. "
"The national team is a team that attacks in one way and defends in another, due to its characteristics. I believe that if they manage to defend better, if they find that balance, they will be greatly enhanced," Bauza added, who is now the coach of the United Arab Emirates national team.
On the other hand, he referred to his relationship with Lionel Messi, with whom, he said, they watched many videos and discussed football. "He is a player predisposed to listen, he speaks just enough, but he is interested in the team, he knows the players very well," he explained.
