"They didn't do it on purpose and we shouldn't forget that. It was a mistake, an obvious error, but I believe there should be solutions. I think the match should be replayed, although it probably won't happen," Klopp said in a press conference on Wednesday.
The Premier League and the PGMOL, the league's referee association, released the audio of what happened in the VAR room during Díaz's disallowed goal.
"The audio doesn't change anything because I wasn't really interested in why it happened. I saw the result, I saw the goal, and I saw that it didn't count," Klopp added, not wanting to blame the referees.
"I'm not angry with them, not at all. We shouldn't go after them. They made a mistake and I'm sure they felt terrible about it," he pointed out.
