Liverpool lost to Tottenham (1-2), at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for matchday 7 of the Premier League. The match had plenty of emotions and also frictions. Curtis Jones was sent off, so there were movements in Liverpool from midfield. Son Heung-Min opened the scoring in the 36th minute of the first half, but Cody Gakpo equalized in the 45th minute; however, the Dutchman was injured and did not play the second half. In the second half, Diogo Jota also received a red card. Jürgen Klopp set up a defensive scheme, but an own goal by Matip (94') defined the score in favor of the 'Spurs'.
